Our Story

So people ask, why did you get started with Rottweilers?

About 15 years ago, we moved to a rural area. Bill left for work at about 4:30 in the morning every day. One morning, he left and Danielle was home with their 3 kids. About 20 minutes after he left, Danielle heard someone on the porch walking. She called Bill asking if he forgot something. He said, “um no, I’m driving to work.” At that point, Danielle knew there was someone walking around their wraparound porch. At the time, we had a Scottish terrier. He was barking like crazy and although small in stature, he was the bravest boy ever and would protect his family. Danielle turned all the lights on in the house and was preparing to call 911. Bill on his way back to see what was going on. Five minutes went by, and Danielle realized whoever it was, had left.

That morning, we realized, as brave as our Scotty was, we needed a more protective dog.

We began debating back and forth between different breeds. We settled on a Rottweiler and began our search. We came across a reputable breeder and settled on a female. Adara was our first Rottweiler and to this day, there has been none other like her. She knew her people and loved them with all she had. She protected our family like no other and we knew she would protect us till her last breath. An amazing girl who will never be forgotten. So the long answer, that is when we decided to begin our journey with Rottweilers.
